Vietnam lottery prize structure 2026: how much each prize pays
"How much does the 4th prize pay?" is the most common question after checking a ticket. These are the standard prize values for a 10,000đ ticket under Ministry of Finance rules; 20,000đ tickets pay double.

The special sub-prize goes to tickets whose last 5 digits match the Special Prize but whose first digit differs. The consolation goes to tickets with the right first digit and exactly one wrong digit among the remaining five.

A Northern Special-Prize ticket must match all 5 digits and the Special code (the letter series printed on the ticket) published with the result.
Income tax
Prizes above 10 million đồng are taxed at 10% on the amount above 10 million. A 30-million 1st prize pays (30 − 10) × 10% = 2 million tax, 28 million net. The 2-billion Special pays 199 million tax, about 1.801 billion net. Prizes of 10 million or less are tax-free.
